For the Super Bowl, I made this delicious Pigs In A Blanket Chili Dip…oh.my.gosh! It was sooo good! Everyone loved it! Let me show you how to make it! Grab your cast iron skillet and lets get cooking!
Ingredients
- Pillsbury Crescent rolls – use the original flavor crescent rolls
- Hot dogs – I prefer the all beef, skinless hot dogs
- Hormel Chili – buy the can without the beans
- Shredded cheddar cheese – mild cheddar cheese works best
- Philadelphia cream cheese – this gets added to the can of chili, and makes the dip!
STEP 1: Cut each hot dog into 3 equal parts
STEP 2: Unroll the Crescent rolls and slice each triangle into 3 triangles (this will be enough for a whole package of hot dogs)
STEP 3: Roll each hot dog up in a crescent strip
STEP 4: Line the rim of a cast iron pan with the wrapped hot dogs
STEP 5: In a small mixing bowl, mix with a hand held mixer the cream cheese and chili
The creamy mixture will look like this…I know, not super delicious looking, but don’t worry, it tastes amazing!
STEP 6: Spoon the chili mixture into the center of the cast iron pan and top with shredded cheddar cheese
STEP 7: Bake at 350°F fro 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
Serve and enjoy!
