Lipton Soup Spinach Dip

Lover Boy and I dated when I was 16 and he was 17. During this time we named our first born son (true story) and one time while he pumped gas late at night into his dad’s truck while driving me home from a band concert, I saw him in the rear view mirror and had a vision of spending the rest of my life with this – true story. However, being young and dumb all mixed into one, I broke up with him after 35 days. (hahaha!) But I came back to my senses at 19 and we’ve been together ever since!

Lipton Soup Spinach Dip

It’s been many moons since I was 19, so that means there’s been a lot of years of extended family get-togethers! Lover Boy’s aunt, Aunt Tina makes the best spinach dip with Hawaiian bread. I honestly look forward to this every year when we get together. She shared the recipe with me – which also happens to be on the back of the Lipton Vegetable soup box (haha!) and I’ve started making it throughout the year now! We leave out the water chestnuts.

Aunt Tina takes a loaf of Hawaiian bread and cuts out the center – like a soup bowl. She then cuts up the bread into bite sized pieces.

Once the spinach dip is mixed, she spoons it into the Hawaiian bowl and serves! It’s so delicious!
