How To Style A Wooden Tray for Fall
Hi Friends!
Welcome to Day 5!
Welcome back to my 12 Days of DIY Fall Crafts series. I can’t believe we are already on day 5…and that I haven’t missed a beat! Every project has been sent daily at 8pm central.
I’ll just pat myself on the back for doing something consistent for 5 days in a row! HAHA! Now…if I only decided to work out for 5 days straight, think of how much progress I would have already made!

But for now…I’ll stick to crafting and sharing all of my tips and tricks so you can duplicate what I do in your own homes!
Today I’m showing you how to make wooden bead garland with tassels as well as how to style a wooden tray {with those beads} for Fall!
Supplies:
- wooden beads – or a wooden bead garland already made
- jute rope
- floral wire
- wooden tray
- decor of your choice

Let’s Make It Together!
And there you have it! So easy and simple to make and style! You can do this for every holiday or season…just change up your pumpkin!
Tips For Styling A Decorative Wooden Tray
- Add something tall, like a candle holder
- Stack shorter items on a vintage book
- Loosely lay wooden bead garland or an artificial leafy branch/stem
- Add something season
- Use something with meaning or personalization – for me, it was the letter “B”

The tray looks really nice in my dining room. I have an 1886 Victorian home, so things are pretty ornate looking in there!
On my tufted velvet ottoman, I have a throw blanket beneath my vintage wooden tray, that I bought off of Facebook Marketplace. The items on my tray can be changed up from season to season!

If you’ve followed along on our journey of the demo of this room and the rest of the house because of lightning strike/house fire, you know this room has come a long way…but it still has a long way to go! One of our next projects (in between the other 29874987 going on at the moment), we will hang crown moulding!
Before the fire, this room had really pretty oak three piece crown! …truth be told, it’s sitting in a storage unit after being removed from the house…one day it will be back to it’s former glory, and better!

As always, thanks so much for joining me on my 12 Days of DIY Fall Crafts series! I hope you are really enjoying them!
