Today, I am using items from my yard…PINECONES! I thought that it would be super fun to make scented pinecones to go inside my house for this big chili cook-off I am hosting! So, in the process of cleaning up our yard (guys, it was still a construction zone from the demo/rebuild of our house…and I have legit put in over 40 hours trying to clean it up) I grabbed a few handfuls of pinecones and repurposed them!
Supplies:
- Pinecones
- Essential oils – I used doTerra Harvest Spice and Wild Orange

If you would rather not watch the video, here are the steps in photos
1. Find and gather pinecones!

2. Place pinecones on a baking sheet. Bake at 200° F for 20 minutes

3. Place cooled pinecones in ziplock bag and dd 20 drops of each essential oil. Let dry before using to decorate.

They smell amazing!!! You have definitely got to try making these on your own! Use whatever essential oils you have!
