Pink Buffalo Plaid Valentine’s Day Porch Decor
I’ve said it time and time again, I absolutely love decorating my front porch. Our wrap around Victorian porch was the feature that drew me to liking our house in the first place. I secretly think that the porch likes to be decorated also. It just makes it feel good. It’s like that feeling you get after you get your haircut after a long time of putting it off!

This year, I wanted to do something different with my outdoor Valentine’s Day decor. Rather than using my Valentine’s Day Burlap Bubble Wreath and my Valentine’s Day Garden Flag, I wanted to paint pink and white and black and white buffalo plaid on wood pieces and change things up!

I was initially inspired by the pink plaid “love” hanger that I bought at my local Dollar Tree. I thought that the plaid offered a fun new take on the traditional Valentine’s Day decor. What do you think?

Using my buffalo check stencil from Dixie Belle paint company, I hand painted the large black and white porch sign and the pink table setter and buffalo check wreath hearts. I thought it looked so cute propped up on my green DIY Porch Stool that I built out of scrap wood.

I also made the greenery swag wreath that I hot glued the wooden buffalo plaid hearts to. It adds such a cute pop of color … with the hope of spring in the near future with the greenery!

Making all of these porch setters and wreath took less than two hours. Let me know in the comments if you’d like a tutorial for how to paint the buffalo plaid or how to make a similar wreath!
