Coffee Chat

Happy Olympic Saturday, friends!

This has been a week of a lot of down time…and a lot of excitement all mixed into one!

I started off the week with some super un-fun medical tests trying to figure out why I haven’t been feeling great for a while. After a bunch of tests and tons of bloodwork, the doctors can’t really pinpoint what is up. So…for now, I’m going to blame it all on being in a constant state of frozen (hahaha! being cold has nothing to do with it, but it’s more fun to blame it!) I’m so ready to move back down South! Being cold just makes me so unmotivated and miserable! Anyone else?

But then…my week took a total turnaround when my pilot episode for the new DIY series called 48-Hour Flip aired! This was so the boost I needed! Did you guys see it? Definitely go watch it and leave a comment that you want the series to be continued!

I’ll be sharing all of the individual projects over the next couple of weeks! So stay tuned…especially if you loved the faux wood garage door look!

This Week On Gathered In The Kitchen

This past week, although I was taking it easy (and lots of binge watching of Sweet Magnolia’s!), I shared about how to make an amazing wooden farmhouse sign using transfers.

And how to clean your glass oven door – while I start thinking about getting my Spring cleaning jam on!

Recipes To Try This Week

I just made a sausage version of these Bacon and Cheese Scones this morning (I’ll share the recipe soon!). They were delicious and I could have eaten the entire batch all by myself!

  1. Hello Stephanie,
It’s not like me to email to someone I don’t know. But here goes, have the drs. Test for Epstein Bar Virus. My previous medical professionals could not diagnose me. I retired due to the ability to work. I was 63 at the time but had planned on. Working another few years. I found a medical professional who listened to my symptoms and did a blood test. I’m sure you are getting lots of emails. Madonna Westport WA
