Oven Roasted Red Potatoes
While at the grocery store the other day I decided to pick up a bag of red potatoes and skip on the regular ol’ brown ones. I’m exciting that way. When I got home I googled red potato recipes. After reading through several different variations I finally decided on making this one, Oven Roasted Red Potatoes from Allrecipes.com. It was by far the easiest and I had the two ingredients needed on hand.
The potatoes turned out wonderful. They were so full of flavor and had the perfect soft yet crunchy texture. I highly recommend making these!

Lets make them together!

Heat your oven to 450º

Slice washed potatoes into thick wedges (thick really thick potato wedge fries)

In a ziplock baggie pour 1/3c olive oil

Grab a pack of Onion Soup Mix and pour into the baggie

Add the potato wedges

Seal baggie and shake – this is a great task for the kids to do!

Spread out in a glass Pyrex dish and bake at 450º for 40 minutes

And serve! So easy! They make a great side item! You could even substitute french fries for these! They’d be a great alternative!
Enjoy!
