DIY Thanksgiving Pillows
I have a thing for pillows, particularly holiday pillows (and window clings, and outdoor flags and, and, and….I just love ALL holiday decorations!) Every holiday I sew a pillow or two to decorate our foyer shoe bench. With Thanksgiving coming up I wanted to spice things up a bit with something more than a turkey. So I found a cute embroidery file design and got to work!

I used all scrap fabric I had in my attic (which is about to cave in from fabric alone) and whipped up these little cuties in no time! If you have an embroidery machine you can make your own as well!
I have a Pfaff Creative 2.0 and used my 260×200 hoop to stitch out the designs (both of which I purchased off of Etsy).

For the smaller pumpkin pillow I tried my hand at a piping – ugh!! Never again! I’m not patient enough to take the time to make something perfect. So…that little pillow doesn’t look the greatest but hey, oh well!

I love the way they turned out, especially the phrase pillow! This quick little project did the job for sprucing up my shoe bench! Happy Thanksgiving!!
