See-Through White Wine Sangria

There’s nothing better than gathering with your best girlfriends, swapping stories, and just being—without the chaos of mom life for a little while. Having a strong circle of women is everything—every mom needs a support system!

One evening, we had family friends over and decided we needed something light, refreshing, and easy to sip on. Enter: See-Through Sangria: a crisp, fruity white wine sangria packed with fresh citrus, strawberries, and a splash of Triple Sec. This recipe, straight from the Southern Cocktails book (a gift from a dear friend our first Christmas in Georgia), quickly became a favorite. It’s beautifully simple and perfect for a laid-back evening or a festive brunch… even if, like me, you’re not much of an alcohol drinker!

Why You’ll Love This Sangria

  • Light & Refreshing – Not your typical heavy red wine sangria! This version is crisp and citrusy
  • Packed with Fresh Fruit – Grapes, strawberries, oranges, and limes infuse the drink with natural sweetness – feel free to omit the added sugar if desired
  • Easy to Make Ahead – Let it chill for a few hours (or overnight!) for the best flavor

The secret to the best white wine sangria is letting it soak overnight—but if you’re a last-minute planner like me, a few hours does the trick too! I let mine steep for the afternoon, and it was still delicious!
