House Update #11: Roof Demo
In my last update, I shared that the roofing crew had arrived and started having their materials delivered.
Today, the roof started coming off…it’s coming off in pieces. I asked one of the guys how long they think this will take and they said at least one month.

I fortunately…or unfortunately “have” to drive by my house about 2789437 times per day because I drive my kids and neighbors to and from school. Plus any other time I’m out and about. It’s a quick detour to go past my house since it’s located in town. So my point is, I’m able to snap drive-by photos allllll day long… bahaha!

This is my son’s room.

- The room where my son was sleeping when the lightning hit our house.
- The room that the firefighters ripped out the walls and ceiling to get to the fire.
- The room that had all of its contents shoveled out the window into the driveway into a pile of ash and crap.
- The room that is going to be the coolest kid room ever once we rebuild it!…because my son deserves it.

Well that’s all for today! I’ll share more updates as they’re ready!
