22 Questions About Me
A few weeks ago my friend Terry from These Peas Taste Funny tagged me in an adult game of tag! You have to answer a bunch of questions about yourself. Fun, huh? Well I am kind of breaking the forwarding it on part but thought I’d answer all of the questions. Here are my answers!
1. If you could have coffee with any one person, living or not, who would it be?
My husband, Lover Boy. Yeah I kind of like him 🙂
2. What is one quality you’d like to develop in yourself?
*Self-Discipline. To not eat the whole batch of cookies in one day, to start running again, stay on top of house work…those type of things. Blah!!
*Be a better listener.
3. What talent do you wish you had?
I agree with Terry. I wish I could sing. I am a total car jammer, but would die if I had to sing in front of someone other than the people who are forced to listen to me (sorry Lover Boy and kids)
4. If you won the lottery {mega-millions}, what would you do with the money?
I would give some to my family and close friends, set aside some for our kid’s futures, travel, buy a house in the country with lots of acres and build our dream house, and then donate the rest to charities with the condition that I was able to go along and help out with the work load.
5. Which superpower would you choose: the ability to fly, the ability to read minds, or x-ray vision, and why?
Fly. Then I could travel to wherever I wanted and not have to pay for airfare! J
6. Share a nickname you have and how you got it.
Dobbs, from my running days (my maiden name is Dobberfuhl). But in Lover Boy’s cell phone my number comes up as Wifey.
7. If you could close your eyes right now and be anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Ohh, really anywhere overseas with Lover Boy. I won’t be picky!
8. What is your favorite season and why?
Fall! It reminds me so much of my running days, some of my most favorite memories! I love the colors, the temperature, the smells, the sports, the anticipation for winter!
9. If you could only eat one dessert for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Oreos. I can take out a whole row in one sitting!
10. Which sense would be the hardest for you to lose: sight, hearing, taste, or smell? Why?
Sight. I thrive on seeing my beautiful children, my hottie husband, my energetic dogs and the beautiful landscapes God has painted.
11. If you could relive one moment or day in your life, what would it be and why?
There are two:
1) When I was 16 Lover Boy drove me home after our band concert, we stopped at a gas station (Pride) way past my house (trying to spend every minute together). I remember sitting in the passenger seat of his dad’s then truck, seeing him in the rear view mirror with his white dress shirt on pumping gas and thinking to myself that I could spend the rest of my life with him. (funny that I would break up with him a few weeks later for no good reason, haha)
2) I would want to relive Lover Boy’s and my 4th of July trip to Minocqua, WI in 2003. After three years of being broken up we rekindled our relationship and have been together ever since. J
Here Are Terry’s Questions:
1. How did you decide to start blogging?
Well I actually started blogging back in 2006 when I was still in college. We then moved to Georgia and I got out of the loop. In 2011 I decided to start back up with a primarily cooking tutorial blog.
2. What would be your dream job?
A professional traveler with my family.
3. What is your favorite movie or book?
The Notebook. It reminds me so much of Lover Boy and I.
4. Favorite food?
Chicago style pizza
5. If you had an entire afternoon free, who would you want to spend it with and doing what?
Lover Boy, doing something adventurous outdoors.
6. What is the most significant goal you have achieved to date?
Well I feel like I have a lot of work and running related goals accomplished but truthfully none of those matter anymore. My most significant and meaningful goals are my every day life, being a stay-at-home mom and being with my kiddos
7. What is your dream vacation?
Honestly I don’t know that I have a “dream” vacation ~ I just want to go everywhere!
8. When you go to weddings, do you dance or sit like a bump?
If it’s a big wedding and there’s lots of people I don’t moind dancing but if it’s small and everyone can see every move I make then I’m a total bump!!! (sooo unlike my crazy dancing hubby!)
9. If you were going to volunteer for an organization, what would it be?
Some type of mission work that built things ~ houses, decks, etc
10. Favorite celebrity or sports star?
