DIY Wood Circle Ornaments Using Transfer Designs

I was scrolling Instagram the other day and saw a video for decoupage wooden ornaments…and it got me thinking…

I instantly thought I needed to also make my own ornaments…but with something different. An alternative to using decoupage. (Decoupage is the process of mixing glue (like Elmer’s white school glue) together with water and making a paste to make something (typically paper of some sort) adhere to something different (wood, glass, etc).

Decoupage is definitely an amazing way to create very unique pieces, but it’s also pretty messy. And I don’t know about you, but I’m working hard on creating less mess around my house and using up things that I have!

I decided to use some of the beautiful furniture transfers designs that I have from Dixie Belle on wooden circles that I bought in a package from Walmart in the craft isle.
