Blueberry Pickin'

This morning we headed out south of town with some good friends of ours to go blueberry picking! I have never been before so today was really fun! We ended up picking 2 gallons worth! I’m pretty sure we will be eating blueberries for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a whole month straight! 🙂

Here are some of our highlight pictures!

If you have more than you’ll use right now, blueberries freeze very well and are super simple. Just spread them on a cookie sheet, freeze, and then dump into a freezer ziplog bag. Place in freezer for further use. By freezing them this way, they are easy to just scoop out and use because they don’t stick together. Works great for fresh blueberry muffins in the middle of winter.
