Why I LOVE December 17th

December 17th is one of my very most favorite days.

Seven years ago today Lover Boy proposed. I said yes. 

(We were Juniors in college. Lover Boy was working full time as a supervisor at UPS during the night shift and going to school full time during the day…he lost a lot of weight and was super skinny during this time!…well come to think of it this was right before he accepted the supervisor position because he had facial hair and earrings-which isn’t allowed in that role) 🙂 (p.s. I went with him on his 18th birthday to get his cartilage pierced).

Five years ago today Lover Boy and I said “I do”.

My uncle married us at LB’s church, Bethany Lutheran in Batavia, Illinois.

These five years being married have been the best of my life. We’ve been on quite the ride together thus far. We’ve moved 1,000 miles away from home, welcomed our two beautiful children, (well and three dogs together over the last 8 years 🙂 ), bought two homes and traveled to so many amazing places.

He’s always there for me in every way possible, always supports me and stands by my side. We make a great team together. I love you always and forever Clayton!
