My Kids Made Dinner
Last night my kids made dinner. No, literally they did! Yes I know how old they are…1 and 2 years old.
This weekend we will be spending the day at the beach, therefore, I have to get this giggly, post 2 baby body into a swimsuit again. This calls for drastic measures…especially after eating 24 of these stinkin’ cookies (recipe here). Dinners for the rest of the week will be light – aka salads and such. So as you’ve probably figured out the kids made salad and corn on the cob, I’ve featured both of these recipes before so you may be familiar with them.
Salad – Strawberry Walnut Salad
Dressing – Homemade Salad Dressing

Corn – Oaxacan Grilled Corn

I did’t take pictures of them making the salad but Little Finch cut the walnuts and strawberries with her little cheese knife ( 🙂 ) and put all of the lettuce and cheese into the bowl. She also made the salad dressing with minimal help! She’s becoming such a big girl!!
While on the topic of other recipes I’ve posted here are a few from this last weekend that I made while our family was in town.
