Apple Picking in the Appalachian Mountains
This past weekend we hopped into the car and took a short little jaunt up to the mountains in Hendersonville, North Carolina to go apple picking at Justus Orchard. We went there last year right after we moved to South Carolina and fell in love with the simplicity of the place. No commercial flare, just grab your basket, wagon and hit the rows of apples overlooking the gorgeous Appalachian mountains. Honestly, what more could you ask for?
Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day.

This was last year, 2010:

The kiddos are so much bigger!!! Wahhh! They are growing up way too fast! (well, on most days 🙂 )

What great photos. Some of them have that artsy flair to them. Love them. You know what’s cool? The kids look older, but you two look younger. That’s a nice trick.
What sweet pictures. Looks like you had a great time!
