DIY Garage Shelves
DIY Garage Shelves
How many of you could use a little extra storage areas in your life? I can’t stand clutter and junk piled everywhere, it drives me crazy…(yet piles seem to follow me everywhere!! ahh) Our garage is a perpetual place of disaster. And it’s mostly the fault of so many kid toys! Who else has a garage taken over by outdoor, ride on, kid toys? I honestly think that that will be the only kid item I won’t be sad to get rid of one day (baby clothes on the other hand…now that’s a different story. I just can’t part with them!!)
Anyway, a couple of weekends ago my hubby built some shelves in our garage in an effort to get some of our crap (aka bins and random junk) up off the floor! 🙂 We’ve been meaning to do this for a long time now but always have other projects to work on (like our kitchen renovation which I share about frequently on my Facebook page – make sure you like my page so you can follow along and see what we’ve got up our sleeves!)
There’s really no specific dimensions to these shelves, because he made them custom to the wall he put them up on. But regardless, you can look at these pictures and get a good idea for how to recreate them yourselves!

They work out great and of course are already all loaded up! 🙂 Yay for storage shelves!!
