What You Need:
–Wooden crate (here is my DIY step-by-step tutorial to build your own)
-Pine tree clippings or these gorgeous artificial branches
-Skinny twigs from branches
–Ribbon (this isn’t the exact ribbon I used but it’s really pretty)
Start off by spraying your pinecones so they can dry.
Apply hot glue to the center bottom of the pinecone
Place twig in the hot glue and hold until the glue starts to set up. Once the glue starts to harden you can set it aside and work on another pinecone.
This is what they will look like once they are complete.
Using your pruning shears cut LOTS of pine tree clippings to desired length. For my centerpiece I cut my pieces roughly around 9-10″ long.
Fill your centerpiece with either a floral foam or plastic bags. Stick the tree clippings and pinecones everywhere to fill your box.
Make your bow out of the ribbon of your choice and tie it in the middle with floral wire. Attach with hot glue to your centerpiece box.
Place where you would like it and admire! Enjoy the fresh aromatic scent from the fresh pine tree clippings!
