It was so awesome and my kids had a fantastic time!
The exhibit is great for all ages. There are over 60 guitars from all over the world on display, which really interests the parents…and then there are a ton of hands-on stations for the kids! A perfect combination!
This is the world’s largest guitar – my kids had a blast playing it!

Checking out the incredible 8 neck guitar!
There was a whole section for trying out different types of guitars as well as other band instruments. My crew really liked this station!
The cutest little Ukulele player I’ve ever seen if I do say so myself 🙂
Testing their strength on the Guitar Scale
The signs for the children’s hands-on stations were great and easy to read for young readers!
There was even a fun craft station for making your own rubber band guitar. Since my daughter is so crafty she loved this station!
We had such a great time checking out all of the guitars and hands-on stations! This is a FANTASTIC exhibit to take your kids to over summer break! Not only is the guitar exhibit really neat, the rest of the museum is amazing!! We spent over 5 hours at the museum the day we went – and we’ve been there several times before…so that just goes to show how AWESOME the museum is!
You can even plan to stay for lunch – bring your own meal or enjoy a delicious, organic selection in the café.
Because this was a Media Release Premiere the news, radio and newspaper all interviewed my daughter and asked her what she thought about the exhibits. Such a neat experience for her!
