Riverbanks Zoo Lights Before Christmas

Grab the kids and camera and head to your nearest zoo to catch their spectacular Lights Before Christmas! Family traditions in the making!
We used to live right outside of Columbia, South Carolina in Lexington (house #2) and always had an annual membership to the local zoo, Riverbanks. I absolutely love this zoo. It’s the perfect size, has an incredible amount of hands on activities for the kids (and adults!) from pony rides to 3D theaters to zip lines and obstacle courses to every program under the sun! Plus, it’s in South Carolina so the weather is always perfect! I can’t even begin to tell you how many hours we spent at this amazing zoo when we lived in the area. Now that we live in North Carolina and are 2 hours away we still keep our membership and go for a visit several times a year. Last night we enjoyed one million lights at Riverbanks Lights Before Christmas!
