Coffee Chat
Happy Saturday friends! As I sit here on a cloudy day, I’m reminiscing about our family vacation that we just got home from. 15 days out west exploring the beautiful National Parks of Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Theodore Roosevelt.

We camped and had an amazing time, even when it came to smelling the stinky sulphur pits! We saw sooo many different animals, ranging from grizzly bears to wolves to golden eagles. It was an amazing trip and we really enjoyed ourselves.
p.s. this was our first vacation not tent camping (the kids have TENT camped in 38 states…so…yeah, lol). My amazing engineer hubby designed this cargo trailer to become our camper. I can honestly say, it is amazing how much more I enjoyed the trip having this little cutie patootie! For the first time, in all of our vacations, I wasn’t really ready to come home at the end!
Let me know in the comments if you’d like to see more photos of our camper and the process of building it out from a cargo trailer to a camper.

Sneak Peek
My parents came up to visit for a few days – and of course I put my dad to work, like always. I feel so bad about it…but…I promise to take really good care of him later in life! lol
The kid’s bathroom has been an ongoing project that has included A LOT OF TILE!!! I’ve never put so many tiles in one room before, but I am totally in love with the bathroom and am so jealous of their bathroom compared to mine!
I shared about their bathroom in my Instagram stories…be sure to follow me over there to see more behind the scenes!

Yes. Yes, I did black matte subway tile with black grout. Black on black … and it looks HOT! Oh my gosh, do I love it! Tell me, what do you think? Yay or nah?

Stephanie—home cook, DIY addict, seasonal decor fanatic, and proud chicken wrangler living in a Victorian house that’s always a project. Whether I’m cooking with garden-fresh ingredients, herding mischievous chickens, or tackling another DIY, I’m here to share the fun (and chaos).
Stephanie, your family trip sounds like such fun! We have also done much tent camping over the years and, alas, have now arrived at an age where sleeping in a tent is a little less fun than it once was. I’d love to have more into on the creation of your camper in the hopes that we may be able to upgrade for ourselves. It’s mostly my husband and I now but a little extra space would be wonderful.
I too would love to see more about the journey from cargo trailer to camper.
