Christmas Candy Coated Pretzel Wreaths are a festive, fun, and easy-to-make treat that’s perfect for holiday gatherings, gifting, or adding a sweet touch to your Christmas dessert table.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- Perfect for all ages: this is such a fun to make with kids or adults!
- Easy and quick: this recipes only uses a handful of ingredients and no baking required!!
- Versatile: you can customize the wreaths with different candies, sprinkles, or chocolate flavors to suit your preferences.
- Great for gifting: Package these in cellophane bags with a bow for a homemade holiday gift. 🎁
Ingredients and Tools Needed
- Green Wilton Melting Wafers – if you’re able to buy the dark green melting chips, go that route!! Otherwise, purchase white melting chips and green food coloring. PRO TIP: My most reliable melting chips/wafers = Wilton. I have used just about every other brand out there, and in my opinion, Wilton melts the best and doesn’t become “chunky”
- Sprinkles – Look for cute, festive sprinkles that would look cute on a wreath. I used these adorable Wilton Christmas lightbulb sprinkles
- Mini Pretzels – Salty, bite-sized pretzels that form the base of these adorable Christmas wreaths
- Microwave-safe bowl – Essential for melting candy chips safely and evenly without a mess
- Unbleached parchment paper – Non-stick surface to ensure your pretzel wreaths set perfectly and lift off easily

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Line a baking sheet or flat surface with parchment paper to prevent sticking
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the green Wilton candy chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth and fully melted
- Place mini pretzels in a circular wreath shape, slightly overlapping each pretzel. Dip one pretzel at a time in the melted candy, ensuring that the sides of the pretzel are coated. Lay the coated pretzel down on the parchment paper, and repeat. Make sure the pretzels slightly overlap each other to ensure they stick together and form a wreath
- While the candy is still wet, add sprinkles and red candies to mimic holly berries or Christmas lights
- Allow the candy-coated pretzels to cool and harden completely at room temperature or in the fridge
- Once set, carefully remove the wreaths from the parchment paper and enjoy, or package them in cellophane bags for gifting!
