School is getting ready to start back and all of us parents are beginning to dread the morning rush! We want to send out kids out the door with a tummy full of nutritious food but we all know when reality strikes and little Susie doesn’t like her outfit and little Johnny can’t find his shoes, we are lucky enough to get a pre packaged breakfast item in our kids hands before the bus comes if anything at all. Believe me, I know. As a mom of 3 young kids our mornings can quickly turn to a chaotic nightmare. That’s why planning out easy grab-n-go meals for your kiddos is essential!

Start by browning your sausage in a skillet
Set up your assembly station with all of your ingredients
Slice your croissant in half lengthwise
Spread butter over both sides of the croissant
Place cheese and sausage on croissant bottom
Add another slice of cheese to the top and finish with the other croissant half
Place in waffle iron, close and cook until cheese is melted
Serve and enjoy!
