The Market Place Restaurant, Asheville, NC
For Mother’s Day we headed up to the mountains and enjoyed Mt. Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi River!
Afterwards we went down to Asheville and enjoyed a truly delicious meal at The Market Place Restaurant. I was so intrigued by the restaurant because they specialize in American farm-to-table cuisine – supporting local farms. I am absolutely loving that so many restaurants are starting to head in this direction! I will honestly say you CAN taste a major difference! …and it’s a great one!

The Market Place Restaurant
It’s located downtown Asheville at 20 Wall St, Asheville, NC (828) 252-4162
The inside was really nice and eclectic in style.
My meal: Roasted Carrot & Goal Cheese Ravoli
Literally it was so good I wanted to lick the plate (seriously, I’m not joking, the roasted beets were amazing)
My hubby’s meal: Pan Roasted Quail
My mom’s meal: Local Organic Mixed Green Salad
All in all we really enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere and the service. I would highly recommend visiting here if you are in the Asheville area!
This looks so wonderful.
