Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
I recently had the privilege to go to Palm Springs, CA on an all expenses paid trip by Shaklee. As you all know, I have partnered with Shaklee, the nations leading all-natural supplement company. I help others develop health plans around their goals and lifestyles as well as help others begin their own businesses doing the same! In August, Shaklee had announced a new incentive trip called The Chairman’s Retreat. The stakes were set reallllly high but if you reached the requirements in 4 months time you would be rewarded with this amazing, once in a lifetime trip! I got busy and worked really hard to help others feel better and accomplish their own goals…which in turn qualified me for the trip!! There are 300,000 Shaklee distributors in the USA and only 200 of us qualified for this trip!! So needless to say, it was quite exclusive and very rewarding!
One of the days was open to do whatever we chose. Rather than lounge around by the gorgeous pool at the Riviera Resort & Spa…
I decided to take a taxi up to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and see Palm Springs from 8,516 feet high!

I went with two of my good girlfriends – one of whom had never ridden in a taxi before 🙂
Once inside the you pay for tickets ($24.95 per adult) and
Then you head to the boarding zone…
It was so cool looking out the boarding zone windows because you were able to fully see the entire cable line up to the top of the mountain!
You load in the small tramway with 65 other people and head to the top of the mountain!
My girlies and I!
The floor was revolving so you turned in circles the entire time going up and down! Check it out!

There were 3 towers we had go past along the way – each one caused a big bump in the ride – it was a fun kind of creepy!
Looking down from where we came from…
And then we made it to the top! **it was March when I was here and there was still snow!
There’s a really neat visitor center and restaurant at the top. I bought my kiddos little souvenirs from this shop 🙂
The building had a really neat sky view walkway that wrapped around.
The views were stunning!
There was a nicely paved walking trail down the side of the mountain through the beautiful tall pine trees.
After we completed the hike we hopped back on the tram and head back down the mountain!
We waited for our taxi driver at the entrance gate (at the base of the mountain) and headed back to our resort! I’m so happy that we decided to forgo the pool and take this little trip to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway! It was the good kind of scary that helps you overcome your fears!!
