Stuck inside on these cold dreary days of winter? Legoland Discovery Center of Chicago is the ultimate indoor Lego playground that will melt those winter blues away! Enjoy family fun with 2 rides, 10 LEGO build & play zones, a 4D cinema & much more!
While we were back in Chicago for Christmas vacation we planned a family fun day at Legoland right outside of Chicago in Schaumburg, Illinois. I’m so glad we chose to do this because the weather was frigid while we were there and we weren’t able to play outside for very long. We had so much fun building, exploring and playing with Legos in so many exhibits for over 6 hours! Our admission tickets were provided in exchange for a blog post. However, all opinions are my own and not swayed in any manner.

This was by far my favorite exhibit. I loved seeing the city of Chicago built up in Legos. It was really incredible the level of detail that each building held.
Lego Jungle Expedition
Lego statues of tigers, hippos, monkeys and more were in this fun room that had quiz facts along the way teaching kids interesting facts about each animal species.
Lego Star Wars IV Miniland Display
From Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader to the Galactic Empire’s powerful Death Star, this room is full of amazing creations!
Zap the trolls and skeletons on this fun ride as you try to save the princess!
Merlin’s Apprentice Ride
Pedal the enchanted cart and soar into the sky to conjure the sorcerer’s spell.
Lego Friends Heartlake City
I love that there are Lego girls named after myself and my two nieces! 🙂 This interactive LEGO play area lets you become one of the LEGO Friends and add your own LEGO creations into the Heartlake City display
We definitely had so much fun playing and exploring all day long! There are several more Legoland Discovery Centers all over. You can check out the list of locations here to see if one is near you!
