Heading "Home"

We’re heading home. A place we don’t go often. A place we only go for holidays that are jammed pack with seeing 542 people and 138 places in a short time span. However, this trip is different. Every time we head home it’s always for a big event, never for pleasure. This time Lover Boy is dropping the kids and I off to stay with our families as he heads up to the cold barren Upper Peninsula of Michigan for his yearly work trip. This time the kids and I will take it easy. This time I will hopefully find rejuvenation for the first time in the almost two and a half years of being a mom. I plan to let others watch my kids as I wonder out onto the snow covered running paths that once defined my life. I’m taking time for me. To reconnect with my old self. I am sooo excited!
