How to Remove Burnt Food From Pots and Pans
There is nothing worse than burning food on your pots and pans and not being able to remove it. Unfortunately, we’ve all been there and scrubbed for hours, making our hands raw, trying to remove the food that we accidentally burnt to the bottom of our cookware. Shaklee’s Scour Off, which is a nontoxic cleaner will clean any pot or pan with very little effort without harming your hands or lungs with toxic fumes!

As all of you know, I cook a lot. And unfortunately, every now and then I have an “opps” moment and turn the heat up on my glass cook top stove and burn my food.
This morning I did just that. I wanted grits for breakfast (it took me 10 years of living in the south before I liked them and now I love them!) but was in a rush and made them the lazy way. Rather than boiling the water first and then adding the grits, I added the grits to the bottom of my pan and then added the water and turned the heat up on high to get them boiling. I forgot to stir them so the water never really got under the grits. So as you can guess, I burnt them! Ugh!

My pan was super gross and no matter how hard I scrubbed to get it off with a stainless spoon, I wasn’t able to get the burnt food to come off. So, it was time for my favorite cleaner, Shaklee Scour Off.
I love Scour Off because
I not only use it to clean my pots and pans, I use it to clean my dutch ovens, my cookie sheets, my bathtub jets, my windows, coffee pots, and glass cooktops! It really is the most amazing, non abrasive cleaner that can be used on so many things in your house!

I grabbed my Shaklee Scour Off and put a little on a non-abrasive sponge with water and in less than one minute my pot was looking as good as new…for a 12 year old pot! Rinse and dry and get back to cooking!

Not only does this cleaning paste work amazing, it’s very affordable and a little goes a long way. You can purchase a container of Shaklee Scour Off paste for yourself and be added to my private Facebook page where we share lots of cleaning and healthy tips!
