I love breakfast casseroles, especially on the weekend – you whip together a few ingredients, stick them in the oven and a few minutes later they are ready to be devoured! I recently made one with crescent rolls! To be honest I wasn’t sure how it would turn out but decided to make it anyway because we were out of bread so I couldn’t make our favorite, Christmas Morning Breakfast Casserole. But I’m so glad I couldn’t because this Cresent Roll Breakfast Casserole was seriously delicious!! You’ve got to give it a try! I mean first of all, who doesn’t love cresent rolls? Now you don’t have to just enjoy them at dinner…you can have them for breakfast!!

You need a cast iron skillet because this recipe gets baked in the oven. This is the one I use, in orange!
Start by laying the raw dough of the cresent rolls on the bottom of the cast iron skillet
It was soooo good! I’m telling you, so good!
- 2 packages of cresent rolls
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1tsp dry mustard
- pepper to taste
- 3/4c cheddar cheese
- heat oven to 325 degrees
- spread cresent rolls on the bottom of the cast iron pan
- in a bowl mix together eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper
- pour over cresent rolls
- top with cheese
- bake for 20-25 minutes
