Carolina

Many of you know that we are getting ready to move from South Carolina to North Carolina. This will be our 3rd move/home purchase in 5.5 years. Pretty exhausting sounding, huh? I mapped out Lover Boy’s and my long journey together. Our moves down South have all been for the company that he works for. I am so grateful that we have had the opportunities we’ve had to be able to live in such amazing places. Moving 1,000 miles away from family and being totally on your own has been one of the best things ever for us. We had to learn early on to rely solely on each other. Our marriage continues to grow better with time and I do know without a doubt in my mind that there is not a single event in life that I want to go through without my best friend, my husband and that God made us for each other. He truly is my rock.

As we prepare to make our move to Charlotte, NC I am excited about the fact that we plan on this move being more permanent and are excited to establish new roots. I heard this song today (well now, it’s 103 times) by Eric Church, who is starting to catch up with Tim McGraw for writing songs that are my life exactly 🙂 It’s about his home state North Carolina. I really have felt for a while that this move will be like “going home” for us since we’ve known since we unpacked our last box at this house in SC we were going to be transferred again.

Because of all of the stuff going on with our sweet Boxer, Bella Rose, I am racing to get to NC. The hurt from everything stings so bad that I just kind of want to leave this place behind and get a fresh start…although Bella will be making the move with us I’m not sure how long she’ll be with us once we get there. 🙁

Getting so excited!!
