Campfire
Things have been so busy lately with getting the house on the market, Lover Boy traveling an insane amount, his new role at work, classes for his MBA, projects around the house, end of preschool school year (still need to blog about that one, opps!), Bella’s billionth vet visits and surgeries, blah blah.
The list goes on. As you can see all of these things = no fun! We’ve been slaving away (OK so I may be exaggerating a tad bit) and haven’t traveled anywhere or done anything fun (minus a day trip to Charleston and Disney’s On Ice Toy Story). Even Little Finch has been complaining about not going anywhere. She’s been begging to go camping so last weekend Lover Boy promised her that we’d go camping this weekend if we finished everything up. Well, we improvised and had a campfire instead on the deck.
It was just what we all needed. We relaxed. Laughed. Ate way too much. It was seriously a perfect evening.
Here’s some of my favorite pictures from the night:

My little man, the goof ball!

And my little princess…

It was totally not cold out…but the kids wanted to snuggle up in their new special blankets from mommy (aka printed pieces of fleece fabric straight from the fabric store! haha I need to at least add some trim…one day!)
We had such a great night! Can’t wait to have another one soon!
