Banana Split Kabob Sticks
Banana Split Sticks are a fun twist on the traditional banana split, only healthier and more portable! The strawberry, pineapple, banana and marshmallow covered in chocolate and peanuts on a stick make the perfect grab-and-go treat for summertime, picnics and parties!
Making fun snacks for my kids is always something I enjoy doing. Normally my go-to is baking chocolate chip cookies. Baking is just my thing and always has been since I was young. However, from time to time I like to spice things up and surprise my kiddos! I had just gotten done making these picnic approved chocolate drizzled fruit kabobs so I decided to make these super fun banana split kabob sticks!

Dice up all of the fruit. Place the fruit and the marshmallow on the skewer sticks.
I did some with marshmallows and some without, I thought I’d try and make a few a little more healthy.
In a microwave safe bowl I heated my chocolate melting wafers in 30 second increments, stirring in between intervals.
I spooned some chocolate onto a shallow plate and laid the fruit kabob down in the melted chocolate. I used a small spoon (a baby spoon, these are the easiest to work with in my opinion) to get the chocolate on the sides a bit more. Once the chocolate was all in place, I flipped it over, fruit side down, chocolate side up, and sprinkled on the chopped peanuts.
Then I surprised my kids! They were sooo excited!
