Build this DIY Wooden Box Centerpiece for less than $5! No experience needed or special tools!
I absolutely love building easy and quick wooden decor pieces for my house. Using power tools and creating something that no one else has is one of my favorite hobbies. My home is filled with handmade items, many of which my young kids have helped me build. This DIY Wooden Box Centerpiece was one of the most simple projects I’ve ever tackled but makes such a lovely decoration to the handmade toy box that my husband made years ago.
I bought my wood at Lowe’s and came home and cut it myself. However, Lowe’s will cut your wood for you, so just plan our your dimensions and have it cut right there at the store!
Nails and hammer (I used my nail gun and air compressor)
Handles of choice
2 boards at 6″
3 boards at 18″
Assemble your pieces and nail together. Paint and then add your handles and fill with decor! My plants are from IKEA.
It’s so easy and takes only a few minutes to build! Think of all of the places this could go in your home and build yours today!
