I remember the first time I had ever seen or tasted a pomegranate was when I was in middle school and my neighborhood girlfriend and I were riding home on the school bus. She pulled it out of her lunch box and began picking out the little piece of fruit. I was mesmerized! I had never ever heard of such a crazy fruit! To me, fruit was the ordinary grapes, apples, bananas and oranges. My friend let me try it and I fell in love! Since becoming an adult and buying my own produce I often times buy pomegranate when it is in season…and for all of these years, I’ve never known how to cut it open!
Until now… Cutting a pomegranate is actually super easy!
