A Sampling of My Handmade Christmas Gifts 2011

I know Christmas has passed but I wanted to take a minute to show off some of the gifts I made this year.

Vinyl definitely became my good friend this Christmas!

A fancy dancy serving tray for my mom

For our neighbors

For us…haha! I had to make one for me! 😉

A family tree plate for my mom…and I left room for future grandkids and a wife for my brother!

These plastic storage containers are sooo what I want. I have had my eye on them for over a year (why haven’t I just gone out and bought them for me yet?!?) Well anyway, I bought two for my mom and fancied them up! (each bin can hold 1 full bag of flour!! amazing!!)

Spoon rest for my mother-in-lawWooden Nativity Blocks  for each of my kiddos- you can read my tutorial post on them HEREI made this for Little Finch’s room. Any guesses as to what it was previously?

It was a headboard! I scored a free bed off of Craigslist, chopped off the legs on the headboard, nailed it to make it a shelf, cut molding to trim out the shelf edges (that I got out of a construction garbage bin). The only thing I paid for were the glass hooks ($5 each at Home Depot) and the spray paint…oh and the hooks for the back…yeah! I still need to hang it in her room!

You may remember the Hook Board I made our little guy a few months ago…you can read about it HERE

Once we receive two more parts for the toy box Lover Boy designed and crafted for the kiddos I will post pictures of that as well!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
