Equipment

  • 9x12 Pyrex glass baking dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 store-bought canned Homestyle biscuits
  • 1/2 lb Jimmy Dean Original sausage
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 c cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 350°
  • Brown 1/2 lb (1/2 of a tube) of Jimmy Dean Original sausage in a skillet. Set aside
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk eggs
  • Add milk, cheese, salt, pepper and sausage
  • Cut each biscuit into 6 pieces and layer half of them on the bottom of a 9x12 glass baking dish
  • Pour half of the egg mixture over the raw biscuits
  • Layer the remaining biscuits on top of the egg mixture
  • Pour the remaining egg mixture over the biscuits
  • Bake 20 minutes or until the centers of the biscuits are cooked thoroughly

Storage

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where they’ll stay fresh for 3-4 days.
