Mocha Hot Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Delicious cookies made with instant hot chocolate drink mix and chocolate chip morsels

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c hot chocolate instant drink mix powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp instant coffee granules
- 2 tsp water
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 3/4 c light brown sugar
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 eggs
- 10 oz semisweet chocolate chip morsels
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F
- In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, hot chocolate mix, baking soda, and salt
- In a small bowl, dissolve the coffee granules in the water
- In a large stand mixer bowl, blend granulated sugar, brown sugar and butter. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then add the eggs and coffee. Beat until smooth
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture until combined
- Form 1" dough balls and round with your hands. Place on a baking sheet 2" apart.
- Bake for 20 - 22 minutes at 300°F.
- Once the cookies are done baking, immediately transfer cookies to a wire cooke rack to cool
- Serve with milk and enjoy!
