Instructions

Prepare the pancake batter

Place a metal cookie cutter in the pan

  • Set a metal heart-shaped cookie cutter in the pan, making sure it sits flat against the surface.

Spray the cookie cutter

  • Spray the inside of the cookie cutter well with cooking spray to prevent the pancake from sticking.

Fill the cookie cutter with batter

  • Spoon pancake batter into the center of the cookie cutter, filling it about three-quarters full. Gently spread the batter into the edges of the heart shape if needed.

Cook until bubbles form

  • Let the pancake cook until bubbles begin to form on the surface and the edges look set.

Remove the cookie cutter and flip

  • Carefully lift the cookie cutter straight up, then flip the pancake and cook the second side until golden brown.

Repeat and serve

  • Repeat with remaining batter, re-spraying the cookie cutter as needed. Serve the heart-shaped pancakes warm with your favorite toppings.
