My all-time favorite breakfast recipe is French Toast! A recipe passed on to me from my dad!
Let’s get started!
01 Use fresh ingredients - especially the eggs
02 Use a shallow dish to dip bread in
03 Allow all excess egg drip to drain off
04 Cook at a slow temperature to cook all of the way through
Allow eggs to reach room temperature for better mixing
Combine all of the ingredients into a shallow dish that can easily fit a slice of bread
Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, allow excess to drip off. Cook in a skillet with butter. Flip and cook on both sides until the inside is cooked all of the way through
Serve with your favorite maple syrup
