Homemade Purple Plum Pie

Use up those end of summer freshly ripened purple plums in a richly flavorful homemade pie. Slice plums and coat with sugar. Place pie filling in a homemade pie crust and enjoy!

5 plums, sliced in 1/2" thick slices 1/8 c sugar 1 pie crust
wash and pie plums
slice plums into 1/2" thick slices
place plums in bowl and gently coat with sugar
place pie crust in round pie dish and shape
add pie filling
bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes or until the crust is throughly cooked
