Use up those end of summer freshly ripened purple plums in a richly flavorful homemade pie. Slice plums and coat with sugar. Place pie filling in a homemade pie crust and enjoy!

  • 5 plums, sliced in 1/2" thick slices
  • 1/8 c sugar
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions
 

  • wash and pie plums
  • slice plums into 1/2" thick slices
  • place plums in bowl and gently coat with sugar
  • place pie crust in round pie dish and shape
  • add pie filling
  • bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes or until the crust is throughly cooked
