Donut Batter

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl, set aside
  • In a small bowl, whisk together egg, milk, melted butter and vanilla extract. Pour into bowl with dry ingredients and whisk
  • Spray donut pan with non-stick spray and fill 3/4 full
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes

Cinnamon Sugar Topping

  • Right before the donuts come out of the oven, prepare the cinnamon and sugar mixture in a bowl and melt the butter in a separate bowl
  • Remove donuts from the pan. Using a pastry brush, brush both sides of the donut with the melted butter
  • Dip the donut in the bowl with cinnamon and sugar. Shake off any excess
  • Serve warm!
