Apple Turnovers - Only 3 Ingredients

These apple turnover are easy to make and a great way to use up apples from your fall apple picking adventure. Simply dice the apples, toss them in brown sugar and fill them into a flaky puff pastry dough and bake! Add in caramel bites and other candies to make them extra delicious!

2 Apples, small, diced 1/2" size or sliced thinly 1/4 cup Brown sugar 1 package Puff Pastry Dough Optional: Caramel Bits, Sour Patch Kids or Sweedish Fish
Roll out pastry puff dough
Using a circle cookie cutter, cut out as many circles as possible
Optional: using smaller cookie press cutters, cut out smaller shapes for additional embellishments on the top of your turnovers
Arrange circle pastry puffs on a baking sheet
Fill 1/2 of each circle with applesFold pastry puff over and seal edges with a fork
Bake at 350 degrees for 14-16 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky
