How To Paint Buffalo Plaid on Wood

In this tutorial I will teach you how to paint a buffalo plaid checkered design on wood hearts using a stencil and two different colors of paint.

Supplies

– Buffalo Check stencil – Soft pink chalk paint – Peony chalk paint – wood hearts – small paint brushes

Step 1:

Paint the entire wood heart in one color

Step 2:

Place the Dixie Belle buffalo plaid stencil on top of the wood heart

Step 3:

Carefully paint color number two over the stencil

Step 4:

Carefully lift the stencil off of the wood heart

Step 4:

Carefully lift the stencil off of the wood heart

Step 5:

Allow the paint to fully dry
