Where I’ve Been + Thanksgiving Menu Plan…

Well you’ve probably noticed that I haven’t posted a recipe in forever…other than the Mini Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins. To be honest, we’ve just been swamped with stuff going on. All last week we had friends from Georgia stay with us, a co-worker of Lover Boy’s from GA and his wife and three kids. Little Finch LOVED having the older girls with us! She has been talking about them non-stop this week! (sorry for the crummy cell phone pics!)

Beautiful colors at our favorite park!

Laughing Coyote and Ethan playing!

(the rest of my pictures are back on my memory card in SC).

Then between Christmas shopping (we’re celebrating Christmas with some family at Thanksgiving), play dates, Thanksgiving parties

and now…traveling with Lover Boy for work I’ve not spent much time in the kitchen creating new recipes. I’ve been making the same things over and over. Number one being PW’s Sour Cream & Noodle Bake, which I think I have now made 294 times since last week! It’s quick, super easy and my kids eat it. That’s good enough for me!

But…good news after we drive from GA to SC we’ll be leaving to drive to IL and then to WI then back to IL stay a few days then back to SC (haha aren’t you jealous?!?) So…sometime over the next week I will work on getting this ol’ blog caught up on our recent travels, Karl Slover and yummy recipes!!

On a side note: last year we hosted Thanksgiving and had 8 guests besides us 4. Here was our menu, highly inspired from our trip to Colonial Williamsburg before Thanksgiving. Not trying to toot our horns, but it was amazing!!
