Christmas Morning Breakfast Casserorle
Ingredients
– 1 lb ground sausage (Jimmy Dean Regular) – 4 eggs – 6 slices bread, torn up – 2 c milk – 2 c shredded cheddar cheese – 1 tsp dry mustard powder – 1/2 tsp salt
Step 1
preheat oven to 350°F
Step 2
Crumble sausage into a medium skillet. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown; drain
Step 3
In a medium bowl, mix together mustard powder, salt, eggs and milk.
Step 4
Add sausage, bread pieces, and 3/4 of the cheese, and stir to coat evenly.
Step 5
Pour into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle on the remaining 1/4 of cheese.
Make Ahead
Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours, or overnight OR bake immediately in a 350° oven.
Make Now
Cover, and bake 45 to 60 minutes. Uncover, and reduce temperature to 325° F Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until set.
