New Do!

Spring has sprung and I’m itching for a new do! All of my life I have had long hair…who remembers when it was past my butt?? My hair is super straight and really thick. Growing up I wasn’t “allowed” to cut my hair short like every single one of my friends or thin my bangs  (traumatic then, traumatic still apparently!) I had realllly long hair and fabulous poof bangs! Man was I rockin’! During my freshman year of high school I learned that there were hair cutting places at the mall (*evil laugh!) One day one of my older Cross Country friends drove me to the mall and guess what I did?? Yep, I got my hair cut a little bit, to my mid back and added some layers. (my ways of rebellion are not by any means the norm!) Guess who liked my new do? That’s right…my mom! From that point on I continued to get it cut shorter and shorter. A few times in my life I’ve had it cut to my shoulders, liked it for a week and then prayed it would be long again.

But like I said, I’m in spring mode and feeling a little gutsy! I’ve played around at marykay.com and chosen a few new looks. Your challenge is to look at the “before and after” photos and help me decide which one looks best…thanks in advance! 🙂

*the hair color is off, but this was the closest match to my hair color

*some of the styles the hair is a little “big” or over my face too much, but you’ll get the gist

  1. I’d say 3! But really any of them would be great : ) Have fun!

  2. #3 – It will let you stay long but allow you to change it up a bit. Also, it will still be easy to maintain while keep up with the kids!

  3. Ooh I love these programs. How fun! I think I vote for 1 or 4.

    I like #1!

  5. I love the first one! It’s a big risk, but if you have the guts to do it, you should! I am SO scared to cut my hair because every time I do it, I hate it. I’ve had about the same length hair for the past 11 years. Be a risk-taker and go for it!

  6. I like number four, but really you have the face for all of them! I found you on “coffee with friends friday!” following you now 🙂
I am just starting out on my blog, and haven’t updated bc I’ve been waiting on my design to be complete which sould be today! So excitng! Stop by and say hello sometime! 🙂
