Food travels hundreds of miles before it arrives at your home ready to eat. Often times your fruit and vegetables have pesticides, insects and dirt on them requiring them to be washed before consumption. Organic fruit and veggie wash is a great habit to get into before biting into your produce!
I have to admit, I was never very good at washing my fruit or vegetables after brining them home from the store. Often times, I would grab a handful of grapes or an apple out of the bag and just eat it while still driving home! After really thinking about how many people have handled my produce from the growers, to the shelf stockers to the cashiers I was totally grossed out and changed my practices of eating my fruit and veggies before washing them! I mix up my own cleaner right at home when I’m ready to use it!
